This collection of photographs represents a series of visual explorations of place.

Every photograph, in a very literal sense, is a document of a physical space in the context of time.

However,  I'm interested in the ways that compositional elements can mysteriously

evoke the inner soul of a particular location.

With each of these photographs, I see them pointing towards something inexplicable and essential

about the place from which they generated, and in that pointing,

getting at the heart of what defines my relationship to my sense of place as a whole.
